Dear blog world,

I have been MIA for the past little while having some grand adventures in Boston with the fam for the 4th of July. Some highlights included Rex Sox game at Fenway, fireworks on the Charles river, whale watching in Massachusetts bay, etc. After a glorious 5 days with my family I hopped on a plane and flew to the other coast--Seattle to be exact--to be with the best friends for Claire and Chad's wedding. Here is a little sneak peak of a few adventures I had.

We went to Cambridge to visit Harvard and got a sweet tour.


While in Seattle, my friends and I had a few hours to explore downtown. We visited pike place and then found the gum wall, which was SO COOL!


Ultimately we were in Washington for Claire and Chad's wedding, which was amazing by the way. The Seattle temple grounds are breathtaking.

It's happening again.

I feel an ache coming on to run and jump and "commune" with nature.

I'm ready to throw responsibility out the window, forget all my cares and just . . . BE.

Lots of changes have come. I knew it would happen.

it's my birth!

today I am celebrating my birth with best friends and new friends. ;)
it will be great. and you know what? so far it already has been!

it began with a surprise gift from best friends, which is totally awesome and will make you jealous.
it's a blog post in itself, so that will just have to come later ;)

the surprise was followed by a kick-start breakfast consisting of wheat and honey pancakes, delicious fruit, walnuts, and whipped cream made by best friends.

the day isn't even over so there will be more adventures to come, that's for sure!

sleeping in + pajamas all day + two delicious breakfasts + absolutely no homework + spiritual rejuvenation + best friends + adventures = best weekend ever!
